...a qualified Gestalt psychotherapist and holistic practitioner based in Tramore, Co. Waterford. I am passionate about supporting people through life’s challenges, helping them to reconnect with themselves, and uncover the resilience they may not even realise they possess.

Hi, I’m NUALA BROGAN

A Safe Place to Heal, Grow, and Feel Empowered

When you come to counselling with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you will be heard without judgement. We’ll work together in a way that feels comfortable and natural, always moving at a pace that suits you. I won’t rush you or press you to discuss anything you’re not ready for. This is your pathway, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Gaining More Clarity on Your Struggles

By working together to explore and understand your challenges, you can begin to feel more at ease and connected to yourself. My training in Gestalt Psychotherapy, combined with insights from neuroscience, polyvagal theory, and yoga, allows us to take a holistic approach to your well-being. This means that we can address not just your thoughts, but also your physiological and emotional experiences, working with the whole person rather than isolated issues.

What to Expect and How I Can Help

My Approach

I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your inner world, connect with building trust in yourself, and work toward the changes you seek.

My role is not to give answers but to gently guide you towards finding your own. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, non-judgemental space where you are encouraged to express your thoughts and emotions more freely. Together, we will explore the patterns and experiences that shape your life, so you can cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself.

As a holistic therapist, I can incorporate body awareness and somatic techniques into my practice. Our emotions often live within the body, and through practices like breathwork, mindful movement, and yoga, I can help clients recognise how they may be storing tension and maybe trauma.

This somatic approach complements my knowledge of neuroscience and polyvagal theory, allowing us to work together to regulate the nervous system and build resilience. By addressing both mind and body, together we can cultivate a deeper sense of balance and empowerment.
